Brothers and Sisters foundation celebrated Guru Nanak Dev ji 550th birthday

Melbourne

Jatinder Aashat who is Secretary of Brothers and Sisters Foundation told us that his foundation has celebrated Guru Nanak Dev ji 550th birthday on 17 Nov 2019 with the support of Victoria State Government and has undertake initiative that build understanding and acceptance of Victoria’s cultural and faith diversity, and build community harmony.
Event started with Shaj Path, Bhoge , Kirtan with String Instruments , Ardaas and then Guru Ka langar.
The chief guest for the event was Josh Gilligan, Mayor of Wyndham city council  Sarah Connolly MP Member for Tarneit, Kaushaliya Vaghela MP Member for the Western Metropolitan Region and Local devotees were also present to pass their respect toward this celebrations
Other Foundations such Gobind Marg Charitable Society held String Traditional instruments Exhibition,
Darbar shri Guru Granth Sahib trust Bulandhpuri sahib done book Exhibition on Gurbani Vichar and Indo Australian Benevolent Forum President S. Sardara Singh Gill distributed plants to the Sangat.
Number of dignitaries and media personalities of Melbourne also attended the event and applauded the hard toil of the team to bring the people from all background to celebrate this event together.
The purpose of one and all together was clear and that is to raise awareness about Preaching and Teaching of Guru Nanak Dev ji .For this Brothers and Sisters Foundation played Video for devotees on life spent by Guru Nanak Dev ji. For the Devotees Gatka was played by kids from (Sikh Samaritans Australia)
The highlight of the event was an instrument played by Rajbir Singh.
